In Orange County, Mission Basilica School tries to reach out to the community on a regular basis to let everyone know about our mission and values. To that end, we have partnered with OC Catholic for a radio podcast that will air this coming Saturday at 9:00 am on AM 930 and AM 1000.

As part of episode #156, Rick will host Alycia Beresford, the principal of Mission Basilica. She will be talking about how honored and proud she is to be guiding the school through its 90th year of existence. She will also discuss how the school has grown over that time and how it has incorporated modern teaching techniques into the curriculum while still maintaining the traditional values that we have tried to encourage since our inception.

We’re thrilled that Principle Beresford can take the time to speak about issues relevant to the Catholic faith. She’ll be talking about how an education that emphasizes respect, diversity, tolerance, and charitable works can lead our young charges into adult lives that give back to the community in which they live.

This has been a distinct point of emphasis for us for the past 90 years and will continue to be as we look forward to the future. She’ll also talk about this year’s religious theme, “Be the Light of Christ.”
